It seems like every time I turn around Kailyn looks older! She has yet to reach 40 pounds but she is so long she looks like a ballerina. I can't believe how fast time flies and the beautiful, sweet, caring, intelligent young lady she has become. Kailyn continues to be quiet and reserved. Ever since she was a baby she would take everything in before deciding what to do and she continues with that today. Although we do see some assertiveness starting to blossom and maybe cheer leading this fall will continue to bring some of that out. She has transitioned just as we knew she would with a big smile and positive attitude. She has also found two adorable little girls who are her new Texas friends. We all moved here within two months of each other so that helped with the initial bond. Kailyn is in her final weeks of Kindergarten I can't believe my first child has completed her first year of school!!

Oh my goodness, this is so sweet! It brought tears to my eyes to see her with her two little friends. Just precious!
ReplyDeleteHello Sweetheart this is Grandpa.
ReplyDeleteYou have always amazed me with your love of life and people. Your wonderful smile always lights up the world. Your God given desire to care for others before yourself.
I remember one time when Holden and you were sleeping on Grandma and Grandpa's couch. We will say Grandpa's cause you were on my side. I had gotten up early as usual. You didn't know I was up I saw that you had woken up, I believe maybe chilled because your blanket had fallen on the floor. I watched as you got up and picked up the blanket. You then started to spread it out and ensured Holden was completely covered up and warm before you started to cover yourself up.
This is why I know you will continue to touch all people you meet in a positive way. You make the world a much better place for everyone.
I am so proud of you sweetheart, and love you very much.
Grandpa
