Settling into our new home

Our family has made the big move and we are starting to get settled in to our new home and life here in Texas. We are enjoying all of the outside things that The Woodlands has to offer. We have made a few friends and I think we are going to love it here. We were lucky to already know a family that had moved here from Oklahoma last August so they have been a huge blessing to us. They invited us over for Easter and introduced us to another awesome family it felt so good to be welcomed right away. Amazing families! Kailyn has finished her first week of school and she says that she loves it and can't wait to go everyday- this for me was a huge relief. Having to do the whole first day of Kindergarten thing twice in one year tugged at my heart. We joined the YMCA here and the kids can't wait for me to go the gym everyday. We also go jogging and bike riding through the trails and it is just beautiful here. This past weekend we had a royal party for the royal wedding on Friday. On Saturday we went to a friends house for dinner and had such a wonderful time! This is a very transient place so there are a lot of other people here that are new to the area. Sunday we had a family fun exploring day and went out and explored our new town. We went down to the Waterway where the kids played in the fountains then walked down to the BEST store Hubbell & Hudson where they gobbled up some gelato. We then headed to a new park (there are so many parks here it is amazing). Came home to change and walked up to the tennis courts where Chip & I played on one court and the kids on the other. It was a perfect weekend!!
