Kailyn is obsessed with everything horse! I think most every girl goes through a phase where they love horses and want a horse, but Kailyn really is over the top. She wants to take horse back riding lessons SOOO bad she can't stand it! She only wants Bella Sara (which are horses) things for her birthday. If we go to the library she gets fiction and non fiction books about horses. Ok you get the idea.
Her best friend Emma takes horseback riding lessons so Emma's mom who is amazing said what about if Kailyn came and took a lesson with Emma to see how it went and if this is really something Kailyn would enjoy. Well it took all of 30 seconds to realize Kailyn was meant to be on a horse. Kailyn fell in LOVE Sunday from the moment she arrived. She looked comfortable, confident and so happy up on Buckee. Anyone that knows Kailyn knows she is not an excitable child she is not a girl who jumps up and down and screams and that sort of thing. But when I looked at her on the horse learning to ride she looked like she had died and gone to heaven. The lesson went amazing and Kailyn is now more sure than ever that she wants to take horseback riding lessons.

A daughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful moments of the present, and the hope and promise of the future. ~Author Unknown
Our baby turned 3 last Thursday I can't believe it how can she already be 3 years old?!?!? If you know Callie at all you know that she has not been a baby for quite some time...she is a fire ball! She has the biggest personality wrapped up in that tiny little body of hers!!! She brings so much joy and happiness to our family. She really does completer our family!!
We celebrated with some friends on Thursday by going to Chuck E Cheese during the day. We had a hectic day with Holden's meet the teacher and football practice but we managed to fit everything in and she had a wonderful day. Her request was cheese pizza which I gladly made for her and a Dora cake so that she received too! She was showered with phone calls and birthday wishes via facebook as well! She asked for one thing for her birthday....Twinkle Toes! For those of you who do not currently have children at home these are Sketcher shoes that are very girly and blinged out and of course they light up when they walk...what more can a girl ask for? The worry for Chip has to be that she already loves shoes!! She also got a purple hippo Pillow Pet which she is in love with thank you Clarke family, play dough from her brother and sister and she gets to get into a session of gymnastics thanks to Geebs and Grumpa! She obviously had a great day and is very loved.
The fun didn't stop there though because she had a Polka Dot Birthday Party with her friends on Saturday too!! We had it at the park and splash pad just around the corner from us and had a wonderful time. All of her Texas friends were able to come and celebrate with her. She was so proud to have something be just for her!! We have made some amazing friends here already and are thankful to all who came!!
We also went to our Pediatrician here for the first time to get her 3 year old well child check up. The first thing he asked as he walked into the room was, "OK has she always been small?" Of course I said yes. She comes in at less than 5th percentile in both weight and height. Which he said is fine as long as she stays within her growth chart and wasn't in the 95th percentile and dropped down. I just laughed and told him the highest any of my kids have been is in the 22nd percentile. Other than that she is a healthy three year old girl. We did go ahead and get them all the flu mist since he says flue season starts at the beginning of October now!!!!
